Rainbow colors affirm the variety and splendor of human and planetary diversity.
Center space formed by the doves’ tails represents silence and the mystical heart.
Touching of wings speaks to the unity of our divine mission on Earth.
Entire inner shape enclosed by the wings honors the many religious iconographies that emerge from the Center and soar into our world under the Sign of Peace.
The Circle of Doves is a sacred symbol worn by alumnae of the Interfaith Theological Seminary and by vowed members of the Community of a New Monastic Way.
